Dosages/ Overdosage Etc:
Indications: Superficial fungal infections of the skin Ringworm infections
Dosage: Twice a day for 2 or 3 weeks may be adequate. Continue tretment to maintain remission.
Patient Information:
1. For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes.
2. Cleanse skin with soap and water and dry throughly before appplying
product.

TOLNAFTATE -TOPICAL
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Tolnaftate. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic
to any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Tolnaftate topical preparations have not been shown to cause birth defects
or other problems in humans.
3. Breast-feeding-
Tolnaftate topical preparations have not been reported to cause any problems
in nursing babies.
4.Children-
Tolnaftate should not be used on children upto 2 years of age, unless otherwise
directed by the doctor.
Although there is no specific information comparing use of tolnaftate in children
with use in other age groups, this medicine is not expected to cause different
side effects or problems than it does in adults.
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of tolnaftate in the elderly
with use in other age groups.
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any of the following or /other prescription or
non-prescription (Over-the counter) OTC medicine to be applied to the
same area.
