SODIUM FLUORIDE - SYSTEMIC
1.Allergies-
Tell your healthcare care professional if you are allergic to any other
substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
It is important that you are receiving enough vitamins and minerals while
you become pregnant and you continue to receive the right amount of
vitamins and minerals throughout your pregnancy. Sodium Fluoride
occurs in water and has not shown to cause problems in infants of mothers
who drank fluorinated water or took appropiate doses of supplements
3. Breast-feeding-
Taking large amounts of dietary supplement while breast-feeding may be
harmful to the mother and /or to the baby and should be avoided. Small
amounts of sodium fluoride pass into breast milk.
4.Children-
Problems in children have not been reported with intake of normal daily
recommended amounts. Doses of sodium fluoride that are too large
or are taken for a long time may cause bone problems and teeth
discoloration in children
5.Older adults-
Problems in older people have not been reported with normal daily
recommended amounts. Older people are more likely to have joint
problems, kidney problems, or stomach ulcers which may be made
worse by taking large doses of sodium fluoride
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any other prescription or
non-prescription (Over-the counter) OTC medicine.
7. Other medical problems-
Make sure you tell your doctor if you have any other medical problems
especially-
Brown , white or black discoloration of the teeth or
Joint pain or
Kidney problem or
Stomach ulcer- sodium fluoride may make these conditions worse
