Anticholinergics, MAOIs,   phenothiazines, butylphenones,

CNS depresants, narcotics analgesics  tertbenazine, levodopa, paracetamol,

Bromocriptine, pergolide, atovaquone, aspirin, neuroleptics, anticoagulants,

Domperidone, zidovudine, heptotoxic drugs

Migraine  with nausea and vomiting

Extrapyramidal reactions, rash,  drowsiness, restlessness, depression, 
Neuroleptic malignant syndrome,  raised serum prolactin

Irregular periods, gynacomastia, diarrhoea, fatigue, parkinsonism,
Endocrine disturbances,  hypo or hypertension, 

G I upset increased risk of dose and duration linked tardive dyskinesia,(no known treatment)
Rarely haemotological changes on prolonged administration

Neuroleptic malignant syndrome ( hyperthermia, muscle rigidity, altered consciousness
and evidence of autonomic instabilty )

Epilepsy, phaeochromocytoma
Recent GI surgery, GIobstruction, perforation or haemorrhage.

Lactation.
Concomittant drugs which may cause extra pyramidal reactions
eg. phenothiazines, haloperidol,  prolatin -dependent breast carcinoma

Special Precautions-
Establish diagnaosis,  reassess persistent vomiting

Renal or hepatic insufficiency,   prolonged use , elderly
Porphyria, pregnancy

Tardive dyskinesia.
History of breast cancer or depression

Indication-
Migraine  with nausea and vomiting

Dosage-
Over 20 years
2 tablets at onset of  attack, further doses may be taken at 4 hourly intervals or as required
Maximum dose - 6 tablets in 24 hours

12-19 years-
1 tablet at onset of attack , further doses may be taken at 6 hourly intervals or as required
Maximim dose- 3 tablets in 24 hours

Under 12 years not recommended

Use contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
