UNDECYLENIC ACID- TOPICAL
1.Allergies-
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to
Undecylenic acid. Also tell your healthcare care professional if you are
allergic to any other substances such as foods. preservatives or dyes.
2.Pregnancy-
Compound undecylenic acid topical preparations have not been shown to
cause birth defects or problems in humans.
3. Breast-feeding-
Compound undecylenic acid topical preparations have not been reported
to cause problems in nursing babies.
4.Children-
Compound undecylenic acid should not be used on children upto 2 years of
age, unless otherwise directed by the doctor.
Although there is no specific information comparing use of compound
undecylenic acid topical preparations in children 2 years of age and
older, this medicine is not expected to cause different side effects or
problems in children than it does in adults.
5.Older adults-
There is no specific information comparing use of compound undecylenic
acid in the elderly with use in other age groups.
6. Other medicines-
Tell your doctor if you are using any other prescription or non-prescription
(Over-the counter) OTC medicine to be applied to the same area of the skin.
