Ofloxacin- Probenecid decreases elimination Antacids containg Mg and Al , sucralfate reduce absorption Corticosteroids may increase risk of tendon rupture Increase risk of oral anticoagulants Increased risk of seizure with NSAIDs Tinidazole- Synergism with ampicillin, doxycillin and co-trimoxazole Disulfram-like reaction with alcohol

Susceptible infections
Adverse Reaction:
Nausea, vomiting Abdominal pain, diarrhoea Headache, dizziness, Insomnia, rarely seizures and hallucinations Leucopenia, eosinophillia Metallic taste Thrombophlebitis at inj site Leucopenia Anaphylaxis Facial and laryngeal oedema Hypotension and bronchospasm

Hypersensitivity Blood dyscrasias Organic neurologic disorders Pregnancy Lactation

Epilepsy or other predisposing seizures Known or suspected disorders Renal impairment Myasthaenia gravis Superinfection Childen <18 years Exposure tonstrong sunlight and UV light Avoid alcohol
